Happy mother’s day Mummy! Through this blog I want to tell the world that how lucky I’m to have you as my mother. Every mother in this universe is great but you are the best one.
Once in an interview I was asked about my ideal and I told my mother the panel asked me to grow up and expand my horizon. I was disappointed not because I was rejected but because I could not tell them how wrong they were.
My mother is not famous and is not an achiever worldly aspect but for me she is the hero who fought against the odds of life to raise her children so well so that they can stand high in the society. Most of the time parents are proud of their children but I’m proud of my mother. My mother for her kids started working almost after 20 years of time she donated for family but learned everything and did everything o bounce back. And even today she never says no to learning. I don’t know how she is always capable of keeping calm and a sweet smile on her face whatever may be the situation. She never complains, she never tires and the most important she never expects anything that makes her most approachable person around.
Today I would like to narrate an incident that happened when I was a kid and that made me a fearless person today. I used to be an imaginative kid and was very afraid of ghosts. I used to imagine ghosts everywhere around. One day while having dinner the power went off and I went to courtyard to wash hands in the dark and saw somebody on the terrace. I was numb by fear and ran inside to mom. She asked what happened I told her that I saw something. She said there was nothing and I said it was there. The she held me a torch and asked me to go to terrace immediately and check that out. I said I won’t go and she pushed me up. I crawled humming ‘hanuman chalisa’ to staircase. When I was at terrace I saw nobody there and when I went to that spot I saw my grandfather’s dhoti there. I felt relaxed and confidant and when I turned back I saw my mother standing behind. I laughed and so did she. She then told me always check everything twice thrice before deciding anything. After that I never feared anywhere. And today I want to thank my mother for this.
Hey mom! I just want to say that I love you and I’m he luckiest daughter in the world.
